A loud peal of thunder sounded outside the palace, its arrival sparked by Darake’s dark mood. Demons scattered as he approached, not wanting to get in his way and risk losing either a limb or their lives. Usually one of his three brothers could pull him back enough to partially level him out, easing the storm raging within him and the one which rolled across their realm. This time they failed and wisely left him to work through it.
He came to a halt then slammed a fist against one of the walls as a face from his past rose to torment him. “Isobel,” he snarled. A female demon possessing unparalleled beauty which masked a vicious and cold temperament. Anything she wanted, she got. Usually. He had been her target, and his refusal to take her as his mate set a chain of events in motion which ended with his brothers and himself being cursed by her.
Bound to their realm, denied the right to go to the world of humans to seek their true mates. Four demon princes brought to their knees by a vengeful female.
